DWI Jersey City Driver Seriously Injured Pennsylvania Man In Kearny Crash: Prosecutor

A 34-year-old Jersey City man was arrested and charged on Thursday, March 13 with driving drunk in a crash that seriously injured a Bangor, Pa. man last November, authorities said.

At 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, Kearny police responded to a crash near the Newark-Jersey City Turnpike and Fish Hound Road, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. A Jeep Compass driven by Maria Molesky collided with a Ford-150 driven by a 56-year-old man, Suarez said.

The man was seriously injured, Suarez said.  During the preliminary investigation, the Kearny Police Department arrested Molesky and issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving and driving while intoxicated.
